Meghan McPeak is a rising star in broadcasting and as an interracial, female announcer, she's breaking barriers in the process. If you haven't heard of her yet, you're sure to over the next few years as she continues to climb in the industry. McPeak is one of the only woman ever to serve as a play-by-play announcer for an NBA game. McPeak, a native of Canada was also the first female play-by-play announcer in the history of the National Basketball League in Canada. When the Raptors 905 of the NBA G-League won a championship, led by Fred VanVleet and Pascal Siakam, McPeak was there calling the action.
